Uniting People Through Good Food
Founded on a simple but heartfelt idea — to bring well-loved street food into the air-conditioned comfort of shopping malls. Since opening our first food atrium outlet at Wisma Atria in 2005, Food Republic has become the market leader in preserving and celebrating Singapore’s local hawker culture (listed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity).
With our thematic dining concepts, we have revolutionised traditional perceptions of the food court dining experience by creating an immersive and thematic dining experience at every outlet, striking a balance between food courts and restaurants.
20 years on, we have continued pushing the boundaries of Singapore’s hawker culture becoming a must-visit dining location for every Singaporean and anyone visiting Singapore. Staying true to the sights, smells and flavours of our local heritage street foods while also including more innovative dining experiences, every visit is a feast for the senses — from the aroma of freshly cooked dishes to the sights and sounds of live cooking at our open-kitchen stalls.

Our Community
Project Nourish
Co-organised with: Care Community Services Society Singapore and SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Geylang & Serangoon
In July 2025, Food Republic teamed up with Food Junction, our programme co-organisers as well as programme partners (HJH Maimunah Mini, Shock Japanese & Sumber Ayam from Food Republic City Square, and Fitra Chicken Rice from Food Junction Nex) to serve nourishing meals to 300 children over 3 months, giving them strength for today and hope for a brighter future.
Frite
Collaboration with: Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
In 2022, Food Republic collaborated with ITE to run a Young Hawker Entrepreneurship Incubator Programme, aimed at grooming the next generation of food and beverage champions. FRITE served as a capstone of the ITE students’ learning, allowing them to apply the concepts and skills learnt during their hawkerpreneurship project.
